Objectives Of The Association
The Veterinary Wound Healing Association was established after the first scientific meeting held at the Royal Veterinary College,
London, in December 1996. The Association has the following aims:
- To promote education and research into the scientific basis and the clinical management of wounds of whatever aetiology in the veterinary sciences.
- To establish training courses together with national and international conferences to discuss and promote aspects of wound healing research.
Membership of the VWHA is open to any individual engaged or interested in veterinary wound healing, management and research. It is particularly interesting for veterinarians from private practices or universities, for veterinary technicians and nurses, and for veterinary under- and postgraduate students.
Members of VWHA profit from:
- Participation in the Forum discussions on special cases on the VWHA
website.
- Input of own patients into the Forum discussion and receiving advices
from specialists
- Voting privileges in matters associated with the VWHA
- Receiving notifications about recent publications
- Advance notice of Meetings and Courses
